As a Clinical Psychologist, I’m trained in a variety of evidence-based therapeutic models. I use a formulation-based approach to choosing which models are best suited to you and your goals. I primarily draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). Where indicated, I work systemically, with parents, families and the systems around people.

I recognise that the first appointment might feel daunting, so I take a gentle approach to getting to know you and exploring your difficulties. We’ll think about your goals, and I’ll suggest a plan for how we can meet them.
The first appointment is also an opportunity for you to get a feel for me, as building a strong therapeutic relationship is an important factor in therapy success.
Many people choose to bring along a family member or friend to the first appointment - who can be alongside you during your recovery journey.

I offer a free 15 minute call to get to know you and see if I am the right fit to support you. From there, we can schedule a first appointment, and I can answer any questions you might have.
